Germans 1-2 in Men's Singles
Jan 16, 2000 Mueller set a course record with a first-run time of 54.627 seconds. He finished with a combined time of 1:50.273. Hackl, a triple Olympic champion, took the silver at 1:50.512. Italy's Zoeggeler, the world champion who had been unbeaten in five World Cup races this season, had the fastest second run but wound up third at 1:50.570. Calgary's Chris Moffat was the top Canadian in 14th with a two-run time of 1:51.835. Tyler Seitz was 19th, Eric Pothier placed 29th and Ryan Paton was 33rd. All are from Calgary.
