Background:
Jordyn got her start in luge by attending a summer recruitment camp in Calgary. Her development in the sport has been steady over the last seven years where she is now competing in her second season on the Junior National Team with aspirations of sliding for Canada at the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia.
Jordyn has always been very active in sports. She was an alpine ski racer until the age of 11, played competitive soccer, and also enjoyed canoe trips with her family in the great outdoors. When not competing in luge, Jordyn still enjoys alpine skiing, traveling, drinking tea, and making tie-dye.
A graduate of the National Sport School, Jordyn plans to attend UBC for sciences or journalism.
