This invitation to tour The Whistler Sliding Centre follows closely on the heels of the completion of the homologation process for the sliding track last week. Canadian team sliding athletes participated in the homologation last week and have stayed on at the track to gain valuable training time. One of the top priorities for VANOC and Own the Podium 2010 was to see the venues completed early to allow Canadian team athletes early and frequent access to maximize home field advantage.
