CANADA’S JUNIOR LUGE TEAM PUTS THREE IN THE TOP-10 AT FINAL RACE BEFORE HOLIDAY BREAK

- Calgary’s David Adair breaks into the top-five for season’s best result –Before packing their bags to head home for the holidays, Canada’s young luge team put one more stamp on the Junior World Cup circuit. In one of the strongest finishes this year, the Youth A men’s team captured three of the top-10 spots in Austria.

Calgary’s David Adair was the surprise of the day, leading the Canuck charge, sliding into fifth place. Adair is better known for his results with doubles partner Cameron Gunn and until today had yet to break the top-10 in singles racing this season.

Teammates and fellow Calgarian’s Stephan Rath and Tristan Walker were eighth and ninth respectfully, showing the depth of this young team.

In the junior men’s division, Brendan Hauptman turned in another solid result, capturing 13th place.
