Medal-Winning Luge Athletes Slide into Calgary for World Cup
CALGARY—Canada’s luge athletes invite news and sports reporters to their final training session before hitting the start house for the 2011 Luge World Cup at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
Coming off medal-winning performances at each of the first two World Cups of the season, media will have the opportunity to capture photos and interviews with the Canadian squad, December 14 from 9-10 a.m.
The Canadian Luge Team celebrated a gold medal in the team relay at the season-opening World Cup in Igls, Austria one day after Alex Gough captured the bronze medal in women’s singles.
