Originally from Split, Croatia, Dania is a former professional luge athlete with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Strength and Conditioning. Throughout her athletic career, she proudly represented both Croatia and the Netherlands at the highest levels of international luge competitions.

Luge has always been at the heart of Dania’s life, shaping her discipline, resilience, and drive for excellence. While still competing, she helped launch youth luge program and athlete recruitment initiatives in the Netherlands and served as an Athlete Representative on the Athlete Committee of the Dutch Bob, Skeleton, and Luge Federation.

Now based in Calgary, Dania is excited to contribute to the growth and success of the next generation of Canadian luge athletes and to be part of Canada’s proud luge legacy. Calgary, an Olympic city filled with special memories from her own sliding career, has been her home since 2024, and she is honored to work alongside a team with such a rich history in the sport.​​​​​​​
