Corey began Natural Luge in 1992 when Sundre hosted the County Winter Games. He joined the Provincial Team in 1996 and the National Team in 1997. He raced in his first Canadian and North American Championships in 1996, his first World Junior Championships in 1999 and his first World Championships in 2000. He is a current member of the Red Deer Buccaneers Football Club (Canadian Major Football League) and has played various sports through high school and college.
